Vernee Apollo will be world’s first VR Flagship on MTK platform

After long time waiting, Vernee Apollo Phone finally will be launched in November, and it will be the company’s as well as world’s first VR flagship (virtual reality) based on MediaTek platform. 

The company touts that its first MTK based VR flagship and the smartphone will be available soon this month via most of the online retailers globally.

The dual-SIM Vernee Apollo will feature a 5.5-inch 2K (2560 x 1440 pixel) IPS display with a high pixel density of 541ppi. The new Vernee smartphone is powered by a 2.5GHz deca-core Helio X25 processor paired with Mali-T880 GPU. Sporting a 21-megapixel rear Sony IMX230 autofocus camera sensor, and it bears 64GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G (HSPA+), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
