Yamaha TW-E5B true wireless Bluetooth earbuds last 8.5 hours without recharging

One of the big drawbacks of the true wireless Bluetooth earbuds that are now widely used on the market is the short battery life. Yamaha has released the TW-E5B Bluetooth wireless earbuds model, which stands out against the background of many similar products with decent battery life.

According to the manufacturer, the Yamaha TW-E5B Bluetooth headphones with microphone can work without recharging for 8.5 hours, and if you take into account the possibility of recharging from the battery in the case, the battery life increases by another 21.5 hours. Long battery life is partly due to the lack of active noise cancellation.

The manufacturer refers to the advantages of the device’s branded functions. For example, this is the Yamaha True Sound feature, which is claimed to provide “greater realism, detail, and clarity of the reproduced sound.” According to Yamaha, the Listening Care feature reduces the risk of hearing loss by reducing the volume of certain frequencies. The description also noted support for Qualcomm CVC (Clear Voice Capture) technology and aptX Adaptive profile, the presence of a special game mode, and support for Siri or Google Assistant.

The Yamaha headphones are equipped with dynamic drivers with a diameter of 7 mm. The case protects against water and sweat – based on IPX5 standards. There is a button for controlling playback and answering calls on the left earpiece, and there are buttons for adjusting the volume and navigating tracks on the right. The kit includes four pairs of ear tips and a USB-C charging cable.

Yamaha TW-E5B price and availability

The new Yamaha true wireless Bluetooth earbuds cost $149.95 and are already listed on the Amazon.com website. They will go on sale in April and come in Black, Brown, Light Gray, and Blue color variants.

Earlier this year, Sony has introduced the Sony Link Buds (REVIEW) truly wireless earbuds. This tiny set features a fully open wear style that lets outside noise through its design rather than relying on ambient sound modes.
