QNAP, according to network sources, is bringing the TS-233 NAS enclosure for home and office use. The QNAP NAS is designed to build a personal private cloud and home multimedia center with a built-in NPU to boost AI-powered face recognition.
The QNAP NAS is made in a desktop form factor. It is based on a processor with four Arm Cortex-A55 cores, clocked at up to 2.0 GHz. The amount of DDR4 RAM can be up to 2 GB. There are two drive bays for 3.5″ or 2.5″ SATA 3.0 drives. Hot swapping is allowed. Dimensions are 188.6 × 90.1 × 156.2 mm.
