Tokina atx-i 11-16mm f/2.8 CF Lens for Canon EF and Nikon F Launched: Price, Specs, and Availability

Kenko Tokina announced the release of the Tokina atx-i 11-16mm f/2.8 CF Lens for Canon EF and Nikon F mounts. These new Tikona lenses are designed for modern APS-C format digital SLR cameras, this Tikon 11-16mm lens is an update to the AT-X 116 PRO DX II.

According to the manufacturer, the atx-i 11-16mm f/2.8 CF lens is improved both in terms of technical specifications and in terms of design, taking into account the requirements of photographers and videographers. It comes in Nikon F and Canon EF mount options.

The lens covers a range of focal lengths of 11-16 mm with a constant maximum aperture of f / 2.8. The front element has a water-repellent coating. Focusing is internal. To switch between automatic and manual focusing, a proprietary mechanism with a shift of the focus ring along the axis of the lens is used.

The Tokina 11-16mm is a versatile ultra-wide zoom lens well-suited for landscape, architecture, and interior shooting. A large bright f/2.8 aperture, consistent brightness is afforded throughout the zoom range and benefits working in available lighting conditions. Individual elements are also multi-coated to resist flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color accuracy when working in bright or backlit conditions. It features a One-Touch Focus Clutch Mechanism for fast changing between AF and MF settings, and internal focusing design is used for responsive focusing performance.
