Adata Technology announced the release of the SE880 best external SSD 500 GB. It is equipped with a USB 3.2 Gen2 x2 interface, output to the Type-C connector. This interface allows you to get a data transfer rate of 2000 MB/s – both in write and read mode.
The new Portable SSD drives dimensions are 64.8 x 35 x 12.25 mm and the weight is 31 g. Included is a cable with USB Type-C and Type-A connectors. The 500 GB SSD device can also be connected via USB 2.0 interface. However, in this case, you must use a Y-cable to connect to two ports at once in order to obtain sufficient power.
For optimal performance, the host device must support USB 3.2 Gen 2 and UASP drivers. Actual performance figures depend on host hardware and software configurations. The SE880 is no bigger than an Airpods case and fits easily in the palm of your hand. Due to its compact size, it is very convenient for business and mobile people.
The SE880 supports many of the latest gaming consoles, is perfect for storing all your games, and doesn’t take up much physical space. You don’t have to worry about compatibility, regardless of the operating system you use: Android, macOS, Windows, etc. Just plug in your device via the Type-C port and go!
