Sigma unviles 50mm f1.2 DG DN Art lens for Sony E and L Mount

Additionally, the 50mm f1.2 lens shares the same 72mm filter size as the 50mm f1.4, while the 35mm f1.2 requires larger 82mm filters.

With a wide maximum aperture of f1.2, this lens offers a clear advantage over f1.4 lenses, particularly in low-light situations or when aiming to achieve a shallow depth of field. Additionally, this lens boasts a 13-blade rounded diaphragm, making it a true bokeh monster. The f1.2 aperture allows for greater creative control while maintaining a relatively compact form factor.
