QNAP Systems unveiled the TS-451D2 Network-Attached Storage (NAS) with Four 3.5-inch SATA 6Gb/s drive bays. This new home NAS storage is based on a dual-core Intel Celeron J4025 processor, clocked at 2.0-2.9 GHz. According to the manufacturer, the QNAP TS-451D2 will suit home users and small businesses.
The QNP NAS system is offered in configurations with 2 and 4 GB DDR4 memory. Expansion up to 8 GB is possible in any case. The strengths of the TS-451D2 include support for encryption using the appropriate Intel AES-NI command system extension, 4K video streaming, and real-time transcoding. 4K video is output to HDMI 2.0 output.
