Fujifilm launches XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS WR Wide angle Lens

Fujifilm has announced the Fujinon XF 10-24mm f/4 R OIS WR wide angle lens, which is an updated version of the old XF 10-24mm lens that keeps the optics intact but adds weather resistance, improved optical image stabilization, and a physical aperture ring.

The XF 10-24mm F4 R OIS WR, with an equivalent 15-36mm focal range in full-frame mode, is a high-quality wide-angle option for X-series shots. The new lens is now weatherproof, should be the best companion for the equally rugged X-T4 and X-T3.

Despite being weather-sealed, the new lens is slightly lighter than its predecessor (25g) and the optical image stabilization has been improved by one stop, resulting in an overall stabilization effect of 3.5 EV (CIPA). Combined with the IBIS system built into the X-T4 camera, the overall stabilization is increased to 6.5EV.

The new lens will be available on November 19th for a suggested retail price of $999, and it is already up for pre-order on the Bhphotovideo.com online store.
