TerraMaster introduced the compact NAS T12-423 network-attached personal storage server in the professional segment. It is designed for small-sized and medium-sized businesses, the TerraMaster NAS storage is powered by an Intel Celeron N5105 quad-core processor running at 2.0-2.9GHz and has 12 drive bays.
These bays can accommodate 2.5″ and 3.5″ SATA hard drives up to a total capacity of 240TB (12 x 20TB). In addition, there are two M.2 slots for caching NVMe-enabled SSDs. The TNAS comes with 8 GB of DDR4 SODIMM memory, which can be expanded up to 32 GB (2x 16 GB) by installing modules in two slots. The Terra Master NAS equipment includes two 2.5GbE network ports with Link Aggregation support.
The T12-423 is configured with two 2.5 GbE interfaces. Link Aggregation provides a network bandwidth up to 5 Gb, The built-in M.2 NVMe slot realizes SSD cache acceleration and significantly increases the storage efficiency of the disk array. It has a high-quality silent fan and optimized internal structure, which increases the equipment’s internal wind pressure and reduces the working temperature of the hard disk.
The personal storage server NAS supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 arrays, popular file management services including SMB, AFP, SFTP/FTP, iSCSI, NFS, and WebDAV, as well as VMware vSphere and Windows Hyper-V virtualization storage solutions. It can be positioned horizontally and vertically. The drives are cooled by three 80mm fans.
