The manufacturer eero, which belongs to Amazon, has presented two new router models. The eero Pro 6E enables fast mesh WLAN networks thanks to Wi-Fi 6E, while the new eero 6+ is affordable.
The router manufacturer eero, which has been part of Amazon for several years, now introduced two new Wi-Fi 6E models with Zigbee’s best smart home hub. The new eero Pro 6E is particularly exciting, which for the first time also has Wi-Fi 6E on board. Also new is eero 6+, an affordable WiFi mesh system with Gigabit speed from the manufacturer.
eero Pro 6E
The eero Pro 6E is eero’s first Wi-Fi mesh system that uses the 6E Wi-Fi standard. In addition to the well-known 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency bands, it also uses the 6 GHz band to transmit data wirelessly through the air at up to 1.3 Gbit/s. More than 100 devices can connect to the new router, which is a trio that should cover around 550 square meters. In addition to the Wi-Fi mesh, network participants can also be connected via Ethernet port, with one connection each with 2.5 Gbit/s and one with 1.0 Gbit/s.
The new eero Pro 6E starts at $299 for a single router on Amazon.com. The two-pack costs $499, and the three-pack costs $699.
eero 6+
With a starting price of $139, the eero 6+ starter pack is significantly cheaper. According to the manufacturer, this is the best WiFi 6 router gigabit system in the budget segment. It provides over 75 devices with a wireless network. In addition, each router offers two Gigabit Ethernet ports. There are sets of 1, 2, and 3 here too, which should cover up to 420 square meters.
The new Wi-Fi 6 router is also available at Amazon.com and will be released on May 4th, 2022.
