Viltrox NF-Z adapter allows you to use Nikon F optics on Nikon Z cameras

Viltrox has announced an NF-Z autofocus adapter for attaching Nikon F-mount lenses to Nikon Z-mount cameras. The new camera adapter provides EXIF ​​information transfer from the lens to the camera, support for updating via the Type-C port, and the operation of the VR lens stabilization system.

Recently, Megadap launched the second generation of their adapter, the ETZ21. With it, photographers can easily use Sony E-mount lenses on their Nikon Z cameras – without any restrictions. The camera adapter is compatible with Nikon Z full-frame cameras and is the only one also compatible with Nikon models with APS-C format sensors. (By the way, Megadap also offers an adapter for lenses with a Leica M mount on Nikon Z cameras. Interestingly, the adapter enables autofocus with the manual focus lenses.)

The Megadap ETZ21 Sony E to Nikon Z autofocus adapter is available from and online retailers at $249, and the first delivery of the new camera adapter will start soon.

Apart from the camera adapter, Viltrox has also made available the new 13mm F1.4 AF autofocus wide-angle lens for the Sony E-mount and Nikon Z cameras.

The optical design of the lens consists of 14 elements in 11 groups, including 2 aspherical elements to optimize lens distortion and aberrations and 4 ED elements that reduce chromatic aberration, providing high color reproduction and smooth color transition effects.

The Viltrox 13mm F1.4 lens for Sony E and Nikon Z mount cameras is now available on the online store at $429.
