New Update for Tamron Lenses Now Compatible With Nikon Z7 and FTZ adapter

Tamron has just announced that they have released new updates for some of their lenses to be compatible with Nikon FTZ adapter on unmatched full frame Nikon Z6 / Z7 cameras.

Tamron Lenses Now Compatible With Nikon Z7 and FTZ

This is good news for Nikon users who own third-party lenses such as Tamron, which previously could not fit the Nikon Z6 / Z7 mount. Some cases switch to manual focus. According to Tamron, they have provided three updates for their latest three lenses:

  • SP 70-200mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 (Model A025) for Nikon

  • SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 (Model A022) for Nikon

  • 17-35mm F/2.8-4 Di OSD (Model A037) for Nikon

The new firmware will be released through Tamron’s TAP-in Console. If you do not have a TAP-in Console, please contact your nearest Tamron distributors or visit here.

For other Tamron lenses, there is no new information available at the moment, possibly in the near future.
