An insider shared fresh details of the Saints Row Reboot

Gamers are watching with interest the relaunch of the new Saints Row game. The public is wondering what the upcoming game will be – a worthy return to the roots or a failed attempt to play on the nostalgic emotions of the fans. While people are waiting for official news, Tom Henderson decided to share interesting details.

The insider published a large material in which he spoke about several aspects of the new Saints Row game:

• The action is based on the Flow system, which rewards the user for his activity in battles: the more he kills and causes damage, the more Flow he gets (for example, 10 finished villains and 5 destroyed cars equal 15,000 damage points – this is equivalent to one and a half Flow points) ;
• Heroes can use superpowers, some of which work on Flow – among them, for example, the ability to throw a grenade into the opponent’s pants;
• Saints Row will introduce a system of perks of three categories: simple, improved, and ultimate – and gamers can use up to 5 perks at once (the first slot is given according to the plot, and the next ones are bought);
• In battles, health can be restored by inflicting damage on the enemy – this also applies to cars;
• Customization in the new Saints Row is implemented at an unprecedented level;
• The new Saints Row game has a fast travel system – to “remember” the location, you need to take a picture of it;
• To collect collectibles, gamers will even have to climb into trash cans;
• “Criminal enterprises” will be diverse, very profitable (bring money, abilities, and perks), unusual, and sometimes absurd;
• It will not do without accessibility parameters – the action movie promises to be flexible in terms of settings, some mechanics (like QTE) can be simplified, and others (like timers) can be completely disabled;
• In addition to the cooperative, most likely, there will be a multiplayer – it will be added after the release (but this is not certain).

Reboot seems to be iconic. However, it does not mean at all that it will appeal to critics and the public. The new Saints Row game release date on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox is scheduled for August 23, and it can be pre-ordered on the Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk online stores at $59.99 / £49.99.
