Samsung S95UA KVM switch dual monitor with QLED, and 120Hz

A new 49 inch curved monitor called the Samsung S95UA (LS49A950UINXZA) is available now from the South Korean electronics giant. The DisplayHDR 400-certified Samsung widescreen monitor has a VA panel with DQHD resolution (5120 x 1440 pixels, 32:9) at up to 120 Hz refresh rate and 1800 R curvature,

In addition, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, a 4 ms fast gray change, 10-bit color depth, and a typical brightness of 350 cd/m² are promised. Sync technology against tearing is completely dispensed. The backlight is supported by Quantum Dots.

According to the product page, the DCI-P3 color space is covered by 95 percent. Integrated speakers are just as much a part of the equipment of the ultra-wide newcomer as a KVM switch. The latter allows two connected end devices to be controlled with the same mouse-keyboard combination without having to constantly reconnect cables. Picture-by-picture modes can be switched on via the OSD.

On the connection side, there are two HDMI inputs, a DisplayPort, a USB 3.0 hub, headphone outputs, and an RJ-45 port. USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode and 90-watt power delivery is also included.

Except for pivot, all regular mechanical adjustment options are available, namely rotation, tilt, and height adjustment. Alternatively, the KVM switch dual monitor can be mounted on a wall or a swivel arm using a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm). Thanks to the blue light filter and flicker-free backlight, even longer sessions should prove easy on the eyes.

The 14.6 kg Samsung widescreen monitor is mercury-free and has a power consumption of 55 watts (SDR) or 95 watts (HDR).
