This quadcopter comes packed with numerous advancements compared to its predecessor, elevating its long-distance flight capabilities and photography and videography prowess.
At the heart of this innovation is the inclusion of DJI OcuSync 4.0, a cutting-edge technology also featured in the advanced DJI Air 3 series. This significant update empowers the DJI Mini 4 Pro to transmit data over remarkable distances. Notably, the transmission range for Full HD video at 60 fps has nearly doubled compared to the previous generation, stretching to an impressive 20 km.
The new DJI Mini 4 Pro is equipped with a 48-megapixel camera sensor, boasting a 1/1.3-inch optical format, supporting 4K video recording at speeds of up to 100 fps. Moreover, photographers and videographers will appreciate the availability of a 10-bit D-Log M color profile, as well as the option to capture RAW photos, facilitating advanced color correction possibilities. This formidable imaging system combines with optics featuring an equivalent focal length of 24mm and a wide F/1.7 aperture, delivering an expansive 82.1° viewing angle.
With a standard battery, the DJI Mini 4 Pro can stay airborne for an impressive 34 minutes. Opting for the proprietary extended battery (Plus) extends the flight time to a remarkable 45 minutes.
Safety takes center stage with the new DJI Mini 4 Pro, which incorporates obstacle-detection capabilities from all directions through a network of wide-angle and downward-looking sensors. The Advanced Pilot Assistance System (APAS) ensures automatic braking and obstacle avoidance, enhancing user confidence.
Several advanced features enhance the drone’s versatility. The Waypoint Flight feature allows users to create a customized flight path with predefined actions for capturing shots. Notably, the Mini 4 Pro supports vertical shooting, featuring a dedicated mode optimized for social media and smartphone viewing.
The ActiveTrack 360° function introduces advanced object-tracking capabilities, while the “Night Shot” mode promises improved low-light photography performance.
