TerraMaster launches F2-423 NAS for business users

TerraMaster has released the F2-423 NAS, designed for SMB server use in small and medium-sized businesses. The network attached storage device is built on the Intel hardware platform.

The TNAS PC device is designed to install two drives size 2.5 or 3.5 inches with interface SATA 3.0. The maximum internal capacity is 40 TB. Hot-swap disks are allowed.

Applied processor Celeron N5105/N5095 with four cores, clocked at 2.9 GHz in turbo mode. The chip functions in tandem with 4 GB of RAM (expandable up to 32 GB).

The network attached storage device has two RJ-45 2.5GbE ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectors, and an HDMI interface. Two PCIe 3.0 x1 M.2 NVMe SSD slots are provided. The dimensions of the device are 227 × 119 × 133 mm, and the weight of 1.5 kg.

Overall, the F2-423 outperforms previous generations by 50%, taking the processing of high-load workflows to a whole new level. File and photo search speed increased by 37%, database response speed by 35%, and PHP page response speed by 40%.
