Philips 24E1N5300AE Ergonomic office monitor with USB-C

A new business and office monitor called 24E1N5300AE under Philips 5000 series has been announced. The 23.8-inch Philips monitor has an IPS panel with Full HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels), 75 Hz refresh rate, and 120.9 percent sRGB.

Philips 5000 series 24E1N5300AE

Philips series 5000 monitor has a color depth of 8 bits, the contrast ratio is 1000:1, the brightness is 300 cd/m², and the response time is 4 ms (grey to gray). For tearing-free games in between, Adaptive Sync is on board, which probably lacks LFC (“Low Framerate Compensation”).

The USB-C monitor has two internal 3-watt speakers and the range of interfaces includes DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, a USB 3.2 hub, a headphone output, and USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode and 65 watts of power delivery. The power consumption of the Philips 5000 series monitor is estimated at 21.2 watts.

The Philips 24E1N5300AE can be tilted, adjusted in height, pivoted, or attached to a wall or swivel arm using a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm). There doesn’t seem to be a rotating function, but there is a blue light filter and a flicker-free backlight. The device weighs 2.7 kg without the stand, measures 540 x 321 x 43 mm (W x H x D), and is mercury-free. The stand offers cable management on the back.
