High-end fashion brand Louis Vuitton recently tucked away its first headsets and also true wireless earbuds called Horizon earphones. Products are sold in 4 colors: black, white and red Monogram or yellow and blue LV stripes. The product was designed by Virgil Abloh – fashion design manager of LV – and priced at $995.

Horizon Earphones is based on the prototype of the Master & Dynamic MW07. The product is equipped with 10mm beryllium driver. The whole is placed in a housing made of stainless steel plated with PDV to help ensure color and durability. Horizon also integrates optical sensors on each side of the ear to automatically identify play/pause when the user removes the earbuds.
Horizon has a continuous battery life of 3.5 hours. The included charging dock helps to increase the total usage time up to 20h so users can safely use it. Besides changing the design of earphones and charging case. If compared to MW07 it is clear that we have to pay an additional $700 for the LV brand.
