Do you remember last month Line 6 has introduced the POD Go Wireless Guitar transmitter/receiver, which is now available to pre-order in the US.
With the POD history and the user opinions on the web, it is only logical if Line 6 equips the multi-effect with a feature that can otherwise only be achieved via detours and additional purchases: wireless.
To be a little more precise: The Line6 POD Go Wireless Guitar system not only has a Relay G10 receiver in the otherwise identical POD Go but also includes a Relay G10 transmitter. And there is a slot for it in which it can be safely transported. The transmitter is charged in the guitar input on the board – so it can be used without wireless even in the event of a battery failure. Why doesn’t that happen in the transport recess? We don’t know either.
It has an intuitive and simple plug-and-play interface. Choose, edit, and control sounds using the large color LCD screen, five push encoders, eight footswitches, and a multi-function expression pedal—plus add a second expression pedal or two external footswitches for even more real-time control.
In addition to the new “wireless function”, the Line 6 POD Go Wireless remains identical to its predecessor. In concrete terms:
- 300+ Helix Effects and Amp Emulations
- 6 amps, boxes, and effects at the same time
- Looper
- own IRs
- 8 footswitches
- Expression
- 5 + 2 regulators for the control
- 4.3 “display
- FX loop
- USB-B-Out
- Headphone-out
