The MicroPitch Delay has been introduced with the H910 and H949 effects processors and cemented its place in music history as a valuable studio tool there and in the later H3000 Harmonizer. So now it should live on as an effects device on pedalboards around the world. The effect offers a combination of two pitch shifters with fine-resolution de-tuning, delay, and modulation. Positive and negative envelope modulation sources have been added.

The special architecture enables a wide range of sound applications, ranging from subtle sound thickening to the creation of a lush stereo width to a variety of creative sound design special effects. With a small switch on the back, you can switch between guitar/line levels and thus also add effects to keyboards or tracks from your DAW, such as vocals, wind instruments, strings, or drums.

The stompbox pedal has 127 memory locations, five of which are directly accessible via the footswitch. With the Eventide Device Manager (PC and Mac) you can load software updates, create your own sounds, save, export, and load ready-made preset. MIDI is available via USB or TRS socket, you can control all parameters in real-time via the expression connection. Buffered, Relay, DSP + FX and Kill dry are available as bypass options.

Price and availability

The Eventide MicroPitch Delay is priced at $279 and is now available to pre-order on the Bhphotovideo.com online store.
