LightPix Labs FlashQ x20 Compact Flash with Transmitter for Sony cameras

LightPix Labs’ new catalog has been updated with the lightweight and compact flash for Sony cameras named LightPix Labs FlashQ x20. It supports Sony ADI / P-TTL, offering very rich features in a small footprint. The flash guide number is 20. In terms of illumination angle, the flash corresponds to a lens with a focal length of 32 mm. Manual pulse control in the range of 1-1 / 64 is possible. In 1/3 EV steps, you can adjust the momentum in the range of 1-1 / 16.

The compact flash supports front and rear curtain sync, manual flash override. The head can be tilted. Installation of a filter is provided. In addition, the flash has a built-in LED lamp, which can be used as a modeling light and for video filming, since it is characterized by a high color rendering index (95). The luminaire creates an illumination of 60 lux at a distance of 1 m.

An interesting feature of the compact flash is the removable TTL transmitter. It can be left on the hot shoe and the flash can be positioned remotely. One transmitter can control multiple FlashQ x20 flashes at the same time. A radio channel at a frequency of 2.4 GHz is used for control. The communication radius is 10 m.

FlashQ x20 is powered by two AA batteries – primary or rechargeable batteries. The transmitter is powered by an internal lithium-ion battery. There are USB-C connectors in the body of the flash and transmitter for charging. Of course, only rechargeable batteries can be charged in the flash. One set of batteries can receive from 100 to 2000 pulses or use FlashQ x20 as a video light for 1 hour. Recharging after a full-power pulse takes 5-6 seconds. The transmitter works without recharging for up to 30 hours (120 days in standby mode).

The list of compatible cameras includes Sony a7, a7 II, a7 III, a7R II, a7R III, a7R IV, a7s, a7s II, a7s III, a7C, a6000, a6300, a6400, a6500, RX1, RX1R, RX1 R II, RX10, RX10 II, RX10 III and RX10 IV.

There is a threaded hole at the bottom of the case for mounting on a tripod. With dimensions of 59 x 101 x 30 mm, the flash weighs 120 g.
