In addition to the LG BU60PST, another LG projector model from the South Korean electronics company’s ProBeam series was recently unveiled.
The LG BF60PST has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels (WUXGA), supports HDR10, and, also comes with a laser. The light source should last 20,000 hours and achieve a brightness of up to 6000 ANSI lumens.
Apart from the resolution, both siblings are largely identical. The BS60PST smart projector is also advertised with a contrast ratio of 3,000,000: 1, 1.6x zoom, horizontal and vertical lens shift, and a projectable image size of 40 to 300 inches. webOS 4.5 acts as the operating system including an internet browser, dashboard, and media player. Two internal 5-watt loudspeakers are not missing, as is support for Dolby Surround and DTS-HD.
With Lens Shift and Zoom x1.6 functionality, you can install this laser projector virtually anywhere and set the screen to the exact size and location. With HDBaseT compatibility, the BF60PST ProBeam can use a single, long-distance cable to carry up to five different signals for the transmission of ultra-high-definition video & audio, Ethernet, controls, and USB.
Screen and sound sharing with convenient, wireless Miracast support. Connect and browse the internet via webOS and Wi-Fi support. The background noise of the LG ProBeam BF60PST DLP projector is estimated at 29 to 33 dB, depending on the operating mode. On the interface side, Bluetooth, RJ-45, RS232C, two USB 2.0 ports, two HDMI connections, audio output is available and weigh 9.2 kg.
