LG Phoenix 2 is coming to AT&T Wireless in 4G LTE GoPhone smartphone segment. It is the successor of the LG Phoenix that was launched back in 2011. The LG Phoenix 2 will be available from 10th June on AT&T stores for $99.99 USD and also available from selected stores starting from next Saturday, 14th May in USA. It is available in only Black color variant.
Speaking on specifications, it comes with quite acceptable specs, suitable for budget users. The LG Phoenix 2 features a 5.0-inch Zero Gap In-Cell display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution is rated to deliver a pixel density of 294ppi. The handset is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor is backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC clubbed with Adreno 304 GPU. It comes with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB with the help of microSD card.
On the camera front, this LG AT&T Phone flaunts an 8-megapixel primary camera on the back with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The device also features various shooting modes such as Gesture Shot, Burst Shot & Cheese Shutter to capture quick images. The main USP of the device is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS based on LG UX UI interface on top of it. It is fueled by a 2125mAh battery that is rated to deliver talk time of up to 15.9 hours and up to 12.8 days of standby time.
On the connectivity front. LG Phoenix 2 includes 4G LTE/VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio. It measures 144.5 x 71.3 x 8.6 mm and weighs only 140 grams. These ATT 4G LTE phones also comes with a few pre-installed applications including LG Knock Code, QuickMemo+, Qslide, EasyHome, and LG Bridge. The handset owns LG’s traditional design with volume rockers and power button located on the rear side below the camera cluster.
