Honor USA has now made the Honor 8 32GB smartphone $140 cheaper than its launch price.
The Huawei Honor 8 32GB variant will be available now at a price of $259, down from its most recent price tag of $399. To recall, the smartphone was launched back in August last year and was initially available exclusively via the Amazon online store.
Honor USA, announced the price cut to the Honor 8 and the new prices were effective from today and the smartphone can be grabbed now via Amazon.com. While the 64GB variant will be available at $334.99 with $115 discount on its listed price of $449.00 via online store.
The price cut definitely brings down the Honor 8 to sub-$250 categories, but it also brings it to the Motorola series smartphones including Moto G5 Plus, and Moto G4 Plus, priced at $229.90 and $299 respectively.
The highlight of the Huawei Honor 8 is its dual 12-megapixel primary camera with wide f/2.2 aperture, Laser Auto Focus, 6P lens and dual-tone LED flash. The rear camera has 1.25-micron pixel size and it promises extraordinary image quality in low-light photography. For selfie, it has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with a large f/2.4 aperture and wide angle lens for a better group selfies and high-quality video chatting.

The display is 5.2-inch IPS LCD with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolutions; 423ppi; 2.5D curved glass, a 2.3GHz Octa-core Kirin 950 16nm processor; Mali T880-MP4 GPU; 4GB LPDDR4 of RAM and 32GB of native storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB with the help of microSD card. There is also a Fingerprint sensor on the back and a 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 Technology. The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based on EMUI 4.1 UI, but it’s now upgradable to Android Nougat with EMUI 5.0.
