Canon has launched the ultra-compact SELPHY CP1300 printer, designed to print directly from your smartphones and cameras. The new Canon SELPHY CP1300 wireless printer can print up to 256 color levels for each color, creating 16 million color reproductions.
Users can select between postcard size 4×6 photo or card size photos, all can be done with just one touch and printing just takes an average time 47 seconds for post card and 39 seconds for card size images. The printer is equipped with a feature that automatically recognizes the subject and background, removing noise and increasing the sharpness and brightness of the colors. You can also make photo tiles in 43 pre-loaded formats.
The SELPHY CP1300 wireless printer comes with Wi-Fi connectivity, and compatibility with AirPrint and Mopria printing, lets you start printing from iOS and Android devices without downloading any applications. MicroSD card slot is also there to start printing directly from memory cards. The Canon PRINT app provides some additional features, such as the ability to share a series of images to create collages made up of up to eight shots.
The Wi-Fi printer also includes a 3.2-inch tilting LCD display and some solutions for creating more creative prints, such as postcard size or mini stickers. An additional, there is also an optional battery available that allows you to print even in the absence of electricity. It is compatible with Windows 7 to 10; Mac OS, iOS, Android, Windows 10 Mobile, and Amazon Fire devices.
The Canon SELPHY CP1300 price has been set at $129.99, but you can get the White color version for $115.41 through Amazon.com online store.
