Fujifilm GFX50S II

The Fuji GFX50S II has the same 50-megapixel sensor as the first generation camera, however, unlike the previous one, the updated GFX50S II will receive faster autofocus.

It features 6.5 stops of exposure- compensated image stabilization and the same X Processor 4 chip as the recent GFX 100S. According to the company, it is the new chip that will increase the autofocus speed and the efficiency of the face and eye recognition.

The Fujifilm GFX50S II image stabilization system is also used to provide a 200-megapixel high-resolution mode when 16 frames are combined into one (focus stacking).

According to Fujifilm, the new camera has 19 film simulation modes and over 100 new features and improvements over the previous 50-megapixel GFX models.

The Fuji GFX50S II features a high-resolution 51.4MP sensor for sharp, full-frame images. The signal is recorded in a pixel that is 1.7 times larger than that of a full-frame sensor: this provides a wide dynamic range and a good signal-to-noise ratio. The resulting image can reproduce deep tones and texture in both highlights and shadows, as well as clarity with minimal noise, even when shooting in low light. One of the strengths of the large format sensor is its ability to maintain a very shallow depth of field. This is complemented by high image definition across the entire image area, which allows the main subject to stand out against a blurred background, giving the impression of a three-dimensional image.

Another useful feature is the Five-Axis Matrix Image Stabilizer (IBIS), which supports up to six and a half stops of exposure compensation, the highest in the history of the GFX series. This allows you to compensate for camera shake when shooting handheld, as well as take photos with minimal blur in low light or outdoors where a tripod cannot be used.

The camera’s innovative design provides an unrivaled level of portability so photographers can enjoy the camera’s exceptional image quality in a variety of shooting conditions. Despite its impressive feature set, the camera is compact and weighs around 900g. Enjoy exceptional image quality and great portability in a camera similar to that of a full-frame camera.

This standard zoom lens is versatile, compact, and lightweight. The retractable housing makes the lens portable and thus expands the scope of large format systems.

The lens provides an equivalent coverage of 28-55mm and is designed to minimize the angle of deflection of light as it travels through the optics. The design consists of 11 elements in nine groups, including one aspherical element and two ED elements. The GF 35-70mm F4.5-5.6 WR uses a focusing system that provides close focus.

The construction of the lens consists of 11 elements, including one aspherical lens and two ED lenses in nine groups. Improved resolution, combined with spherical and chromatic aberration suppression, allows you to capture every scene clearly, even in wide-angle shooting, when more information is in the frame.

The lens is equipped with a manual retractable housing. When folded, the body is approximately 73.9mm long, making the lens ideal for travel. Compact and lightweight focusing lenses are powered by a stepping motor for quiet, fast, high-precision autofocusing, allowing you to smoothly focus on your subject for the best shooting experience.

The lens has a minimum working distance of 35 cm throughout the entire zoom range, allowing close-up shots at approximately 25 cm from the front lens element. That is why the lens is suitable for a variety of situations where a certain angle is required, from subject photography to snapshots, portraits, and landscapes.

The lens is protected from dust and splashes and can be used in temperatures down to –10 ℃ and is also adapted for use in harsh environments.
