FiiO has introduced an exciting new product called BTA30. This is an extremely versatile Bluetooth receive a product of FiiO addressing wireless entertainment needs of families with the ability to both as receivers and Bluetooth digital to analog converter – DAC. However, the FiiO BTA30 is still in the final stage of design, waiting for user feedback and currently has no price or official launch time.
On the front of the BTA 30, users can see 3 different switch buttons corresponding to 3 different usage modes:
- BT RX mode (Bluetooth Receiver): This product will work like other Bluetooth Receiver on the market today. Receive signals from source devices such as music players and output analog RCA or Optical/Optical ports
- DAC mode: This is a fairly simple name when the product will receive digital signals from Coaxial and Optical ports (such as from TV or CDP) to export to analog RCA ports.
- BT TX mode (Bluetooth Transmitter receiver): This is the mode that many users expect. The user transmits digital signals into Coaxial and Optical ports and then decodes and emits Bluetooth to the wireless headphone and speaker devices.
Through the above modes, it is easy to realize that the BTA30 is aiming to reach the market of users of wireless headphones and speakers who want high-end sound quality as well as address the needs of wireless entertainment for home entertainment and especially on TV.
FiiO is expected to use the AKM AK4490 DAC chip with Qualcomm’s CSR8675 Bluetooth Receiver chip. The power port uses a USB-C port, but it is unknown whether the finished product can transfer data via USB-C as its previous products or simply the power port. Coaxial and Optical digital ports are capable of receiving signals up to 24bit/192kHz.
In addition, the FiiO BTA30 has also equipped with clock system and digital audio decoding thanks to FPGA, OPA1662 opamp. The volume controls the sound of the analog RCA output. Connect two devices at the same time. Add antennas for stable connections and increase connection distance. Will support separate applications to control more features.
FiiO recently made available the BTR5 Bluetooth Amplifier was introduced last year, it is a flagship High Fidelity Bluetooth stereo receiver product is equipped with a balanced 2.5mm port, Dual DAC ES9218P, FPGA and full of high-end codecs, priced at $119.95.
