EVGA announces a new custom version of the powerful Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, customized not only in the components but especially in the thermal design. We speak about the EVGA GTX 1080 Ti SC2 HYBRID, which combines the cooling advancements of the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW Hybrid cooler with EVGA’s exclusive iCX Technology.
The ICX Technology identifies a number of features and characteristics, includes temperature monitoring on key components (not just GPU) and targeted cooling, which provides better overclocking capabilities.
The VRM area of the card is covered by a dedicated heatsink/fan that keeps the power areas of the card cool, even during a long gaming session. The water cooler is completely self-contained, with an included 120mm radiator and fan, no filling, no custom tubing, and no maintenance.
The card operates with 1670MHz frequency, while the 11GB GDDR5X memory is set to 11GHz; the other characteristics remain unchanged (3584 CUDA cores, a 352-bit memory bus, etc.)
