After Sony Displays and LG Ultra-wide Monitor, now Dell has unveiled the UltraSharp curved monitor called Dell U3818DW 38 Curved Monitor. Along with the monitor, Dell also announced the world’s first 4K Ultra HD ultra-short throw laser projector.
The Dell U3818DW monitor features a 37.5-inch diagonal with 21:9 aspect ratio, and is matched to high-end WQHD resolution (3440 x 1440 pixels or 3840 x 1600 pixels). The display with up to 99 percent sRGB factory calibration delivers accurate colors and 2300R curvature. The monitor is capable of displaying applications between two PCs simultaneously and manage content with a single keyboard and mouse with the convenient KVM feature. This new Dell monitor also features a convenient single cable with 100W USB Type-C connectivity that transmits power, audio, and video between the laptop and monitor.
The Dell U3818DW monitor not only aimed to gaming, the company also target business segments such as engineers and other professionals who need a “monitor with a beautiful design and wide screen to increase their productivity.”
Coming to the Dell S718QL 4K Laser Projector, which is designed for boardrooms, classrooms, and anywhere users need to project their projects that are visible even in the daytime. It has native 4K Ultra HD resolution, HDR and 8.3-pixel support from 4 inches away from the wall. It is capable of displaying a 100-inch image and up to 10 years of life based on an 8-hour workday.
The Dell U3818DW price is about $1,499 and will be available from June 23; while the Dell 4K Laser Projector will cost $5,999 and will be available from July 19, 2017.
