Dell presents a new ultra-portable and powerful mobile workstation with the Precision 3240 Compact. Thanks to flexible configuration options, the new Dell workstations are suitable for a wide range of applications and also scores with an affordable entry-level price.
Small and compact, but very powerful computers that can be set up anywhere without any problems play a central role in a more modern work environment. With the Precision 3240 Compact, Dell presents a workstation that, with a volume of just 2.3 liters (the size of a book), provides enough power for professional applications including VR and AI simulations.
If necessary, up to seven 4K displays can be operated on the Dell Precision 3240 Compact mobile computer workstation in the so-called “Ultra Small Form Factor” (USFF). Depending on the equipment selected, the Dell workstation has 10th generation Intel processors or Xeon CPUs with up to 5.2 GHz. There is also a maximum of 64 GB of RAM (up to 2,933 MHz) and various graphics cards up to the Nvidia Quadro RTX 3000. Combinations of HDD and SDD with up to 4 TB or RAID configurations provide enough storage space.
In addition to the high-performance equipment variants of the Precision 3240 workstation PC, which weighs just 1.71 kilograms, Dell also offers its ISV-certified workstation as an inexpensive entry-level configuration with an Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor and without a dedicated graphics card. These Dell workstations are suitable as everyday computers for office workers as well as for employees in the home office.
