Dell Optiplex 7010 business Desktop PC Series with up to 10 USB ports and a dedicated GPU

Dell is expanding its OptiPlex lineup by introducing new and compact computing systems that cater to corporate customers. The OptiPlex Micro (Plus) 7010, Small Format Factor (Plus) 7010 SFF, and MFF form factor are included in this expansion, along with the Dell Optiplex 7010 business desktop PC tower. These can be configured extensively, with the option to use an i9 processor and an RTX graphics solution.

In terms of the processor, the Dell Optiplex 7010 business desktop PC tower offers six different Intel processors, ranging from the Intel Celeron G6900 to the Intel Core i5-13600. The larger tower PC, OptiPlex Tower Plus 7010, can also be equipped with a Core i9-13900K. While the standard model uses an AMD Radeon RX 6500 as its most powerful dedicated GPU, the OptiPlex Tower Plus can also be operated with an RTX 3070 from Nvidia.

The OptiPlex Tower Plus can accommodate up to 128 gigabytes of DDR5 RAM in four slots, while the OptiPlex Tower only has two slots for RAM and uses DDR4 RAM. The options for installing hard drives or SSDs differ between the two variants, but they are always extensive, with several M.2 2280 slots available in each case.

The Plus version of the OptiPlex Tower also comes with two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, and three DisplayPort 1.4a connections for connecting screens, whereas the smaller version only has one DisplayPort and one HDMI 1.4b output. The OptiPlex Micro (Plus) 7010 is extremely compact with dimensions of 180 x 36 x 178 millimeters, and the MFF form factor PC is available with Intel processors from the Intel Core i3-13100T to the Core i9-13900 and up to 64 gigabytes of RAM.

The OptiPlex SFF (Plus) 7010 is significantly larger with dimensions of 290 x 92.60 x 292.80 millimeters, but should still easily fit on smaller office desks. The Intel Core i9-13900 is also the top CPU equipment for this model, and a dedicated graphics card can also be installed. Customers can choose between the AMD Radeon RX 6300 and the AMD Radeon RX 6500, and it is also possible to mount hard drives or SSDs in the 3.5-inch format.

The Dell Optiplex 7010 business PC series can be pre-ordered through the Bhphotovideo.com online store, with the OptiPlex Tower priced at $882.39, the Optiplex Micro starting at $717.14, and the SFF model priced at $849.

Earlier this year, MSI also introduced the Cubi 5 12M, a new mini desktop PC designed for business and office use. With a compact volume of 0.66 liters and VESA mounts (75 x 75 or 100 x 100) for rear monitor mounting, the MSI Cubi PC weighs only 550 grams.
