Dell’s gaming brand Alienware announces the new Dell AW2723DF, which is aimed at eSports enthusiasts and ambitious gamers. The 27-inch Alienware gaming monitor manages 240 Hz and can be boosted up to 280 Hz via overboost.
Dell Alienware AW2723DF gaming monitor with fast IPS panel features a high refresh rate of up to 280 Hz, a low response time of up to 0.5 milliseconds (GtG), and an extendable gaming headset holder for the particularly game-affine clientele should score.
As a 27-inch gaming monitor with a higher resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, the Dell AW2723DF from Alienware still achieves a refresh rate of 240 Hz, which can be increased to 280 Hz (DP 1.4) by overclocking in overboost.
144 Hz is possible via HDMI 2.0. The GtG response time is a maximum of 1 millisecond in extreme mode. The 27-inch Dell gaming monitor also supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, Nvidia G-Sync, and VESA Adaptive Sync.
In addition, the Alienware AW2723DF is certified according to VESA DisplayHDR 600, a special “Creator Mode” with which the native DCI-P3 color space can be switched to sRGB and the gamma values can be adjusted. Unlike the Alienware AW2523HF (approx. $421 on Amazon), gamers can illuminate their AW2723DF with the AlienFX 3-zone lighting (alien head, 27″ digit, and power button) to match the gameplay.
