Acer Predator CG48 OLED gaming monitor with HDMI 2.1, 4K, and 138 Hz

With the Predator CG48, Acer introduced a 48-inch best 4K monitor for gaming with an OLED panel that can easily serve as a TV replacement. With its 48 inch (121.9 cm) screen diagonal, it is more reminiscent of television than a PC monitor.

Acer CG48 4K OLED monitor

The Acer Predator CG48 not only serves as a pure OLED gaming monitor but can also be used as a TV replacement due to its size. Like most TVs today, it too has a 4K UHD resolution. The refresh rate is 138 Hz. Players can be connected to the device via the HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 connections. Therefore, it also meets the requirements of the next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S to enable gaming at a brisk 120 Hz.

In addition to HDMI and DisplayPort, four USB 3.2 ports provide the option of connecting additional peripherals. A USB Type-C port completes the connection armada and, thanks to the 65W output power, can also charge notebooks or other devices. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro prevents tearing. Acer specifies the response time as up to 0.1 ms (G-to-G).

Thanks to pixels that can be switched off individually, the OLED panel enables a deep black and thus a very high contrast ratio of 135,000:1. In addition, the screen reproduces content in HDR10 and covers 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color space.
