Corsair introduced the Vengeance DDR5-4800 memory modules in the SO-DIMM form factor. The new Vengeance RAM DDR5 products are designed for use in gaming laptops and compact PCs based on the latest 12th generation Intel Core and AMD Ryzen 6000 series processors with support for DDR5 memory.
Corsair Vengeance DDR5 SO-DIMM memory is available in two-module kits of 16GB and 32GB each. Thus, the total volume of the sets is 32 and 64 GB. For them, an effective operating frequency of 4800 MHz at a voltage of 1.10 V and timings of CL40-40-40-77 are declared.
It can automatically set to maximum speed on compatible systems for faster load times, multitasking, and more. No BIOS configuration is required to take advantage of the higher speed, just install and go. According to the manufacturer, each module is rigorously screened and thoroughly tested in extreme conditions to ensure superior performance and reliability.
The manufacturer indicates Vengeance DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM modules are compatible with the following gaming laptops: Alienware x17 R2, Alienware m15 R7, MSI Raider GE66 (12UH), MSI Raider GE66 (12UHS), MSI Raider GE66 (12UGS), MSI Stealth GS66 (12U), MSI Stealth GS66 (12UG), MSI Stealth GS66 (12UGS) and MSI Stealth GS66 (12UH).
