Corsair iCUE 4000 Mid-Tower ATX Desk PC Case Series Introduced: Price and Availability

Corsair has announced a series of Mid-Tower ATX desk PC cases aimed at true gaming enthusiasts. The Corsair iCUE 4000 series of gaming PC cases include three models: 4000D, 4000D AIRFLOW, and iCUE 4000X RGB. For the first time in this series, a new designation scheme has been applied, in which the series number identifies the form factor and basic characteristics of the Corsair PC case, and a special identifier indicates the unique features of each model, which should help customers make the right choice.

For example, the Corsair 4000D desk PC case is characterized by a minimalist style, the 4000D AIRFLOW has improved airflow, and the iCUE 4000X RGB features additional tempered glass and RGB lighting. All three best PC case models have in common a new RapidRoute cable management system and new fans that incorporate Corsair AirGuide air focusing technology. The 4000D and 4000D AIRFLOW chassis come with two 120mm AirGuide fans, while the iCUE 4000X RGB PC desk case comes with three SP RGB ELITE AirGuide 120mm full color LED fans and an iCUE Lighting Node CORE controller.

The 4000D steel front panel has ventilation ducts on the sides. In the 4000D AIRFLOW case, the panel is made in the form of a grid with triangular cells. Finally, the iCUE 4000X RGB has a tempered glass front panel, behind which the backlit fans are clearly visible. The side panel is made of tempered glass in all cases.

The layout and capacity of the case do not differ. The 453 x 230 x 466 mm chassis has seven horizontal expansion slots and two vertical expansion slots. The maximum allowable length of expansion cards is 360 mm, the height of the processor cooling system is 170 mm. The chassis is designed to accommodate two 3.5″ drives and two 2.5″ drives. It should be noted that it is possible to accommodate six 120 mm fans or four 280 mm fans. When using LSS, a radiator up to 360 mm long can be marked in the front part, and up to 280 mm long in the upper part. The I/O panel has a USB Type-C connector.

Price and availability

Corsair 4000D Mid-Tower ATX desk PC case cost $79.99, Corsair 4000D AIRFLOW also cost $79.99, while the iCUE 4000X RGB has been priced at $119.99. All three PC cases are now available to buy on Amazon.com and Newegg.com websites and they come in Black and White colors.
