Cooke Optics SP3 Series Full-Frame Lenses announced

Cooke Optics, renowned for its high-end video lenses, has unveiled the SP3 prime lens series specially crafted for mirrorless cameras. This exciting lineup comprises five focal lengths—25mm, 32mm, 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm—all boasting a fast T2.4 aperture.

Currently, the Cooke SP3 series lenses come equipped with a Sony E mount. However, the manufacturer has assured the release of versions with an RF mount shortly. Additionally, L-Mount and M-Mount variants are on the horizon and slated for availability next year.

The nomenclature “SP” signifies “Speed Panchro,” a name steeped in lens legend. The new Cooke SP3 series channels the essence of the Speed Panchro while sporting a fresh design meticulously optimized “optically and mechanically” for mirrorless camera systems.
