Canon has launched the Selphy CP1500 mini photo printer, which supports printing from USB drives, flash memory cards, and mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.

The new Canon photo printer is made in a housing with dimensions of 182.2 × 57.6 × 133 mm, and the weight is approximately 850 g. Power can be supplied from the mains or a rechargeable battery, which is purchased separately.
The standard size for printed images is 100 × 148 mm. When using the optional Photo Paper Tray PCC-CP40, you can also print 54 x 86, 54 x 54, 22 x 17.3, and 72 x 85 mm media. The printouts dry instantly and are resistant to water, scratches, and fingerprints, and they’re made to last a long time up to 100 years. A postcard size image takes approximately 41 seconds to print out, and a credit card size print takes about 23 seconds.
The portable photo printer comes with a Wi-Fi wireless adapter, an SD/SDHC, microSD/microSDHC and miniSD/miniSDHC card slot, and a 3.5-inch display. The print resolution is 300 × 300 DPI (dots per inch), and it takes about 41 seconds to create one standard photo. For control, there is a companion mobile application available for Android and iOS operating systems.
