Fujifilm presents Instax mini Link 2, a new version of the compact printer announced in October 2019 and subsequently re-proposed with a Switch theme. On this occasion, we are talking about a real second edition, equipped with innovative functions for frames and color modes so that the user is increasingly free to use his imagination to customize the shots and print. Without forgetting instaxAiR, which we will explain shortly.
Fujifilm Instax Mini Link 2 smartphone printer is aesthetically similar to its predecessor: the body in Soft Pink, Clay White, and Space Blue colors with embossed striped textures and is just 91.9×36.4×124.8mm large for 210 grams of weight. It takes 12-15 seconds to print the picture, and with one refill you can print up to 100 pictures. Another novelty concerns Instax mini Spray Art, a brand new instant film dedicated to street art.
The instaxAiR is a function available through the official app that allows you to insert additional content such as glitter, spray paint, bubbles, petals, and neon in the photos to be printed. Magically the drawing will appear in the print preview on the app, customizing the shot that can finally be printed. It is not printed, but you can still share the video of the drawing with instaxAiR: just scan the QR code.
There are also new frames and images to introduce into the photos, as well as you can rely on Instax-Rich modes for more intense colors and Instax-Natural for colors that reproduce reality. To these are added other filters, collages, and corrections of brightness, contrast, and saturation.
