Canon EOS M50 Mark II Mirrorless Camera Content Creator Kit Introduced

The EOS M50 Mark II from Canon was introduced last year is now presenting a content creator kit for YouTubers and streamers. Canon mirrorless camera content creator kit bundles the sleek and capable mirrorless camera body and EF-M 15-45mm f/3.5-6.3 IS STM standard zoom lens with the HG-100TBR Tripod Grip for steadier shooting, the DM-E100 Directional Microphone for improved audio quality, and the IFC-600PCU Interface Cable for connecting the camera to a computer for using the camera as a webcam.

The Canon EOS M50 Mark II content creator kit will be available from March 25 for $899 and can be pre-ordered through the Bhphotovideo.com and Amazon.com websites.

The new mirrorless camera is equipped with an adjustable touchscreen monitor, shoots in 4K also in vertical format (suitable for example for Instagram Reels and TikTok), allows streaming directly to YouTube, and has a microphone input and HDMI and USB outputs with webcam function.

The M50 Mark II is built around a 24.1MP APS-C sensor; for the focusing section, there is the well-known and appreciated Dual Pixel CMOS AF system with Face detection and automatic tracking of faces and continuous AF functions in 1080 video mode at 60p (4K video is instead recorded at a maximum of 25p). The camera features Digic 8 processor and reaches up to 10 fps in burst shooting; the ISO value can be set between 100 and 12,800, with the possibility of extending up to ISO 25,600.

Sensor-based Dual Pixel CMOS AF has been improved with faster speeds and refined Eye Detection AF performance and supports both Eye Detection and Face Detection focusing modes when working with Movie Servo AF to help keep a sharp focus on the subject matter. Additionally, Combination IS 5-axis image stabilization also helps to realize steady, shake-free recording by minimizing the appearance of camera shake.

Among the features of the camera body, in addition to the aforementioned 3-inch LCD monitor, there is an OLED viewfinder, a pop-up flash, nine customizable buttons, and Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HDMI, and micro USB connections. There is an SD/SDXC card slot for storing photos and videos.
