Blu, the US-domestic manufacturer has launched new entry-level competitor dubbed as Dash 4.5, very cost effective device for the US market. Blu Dash 4.5 price in USA is only $54.99 which is slightly expensive than other rivals. It will be available in Navy Blue, Cyan, Pink, White and Black color options. It can be purchased via Amazon.com online store and also listed on the Blu Cell Phone Website too.
There is 4.5-inch TFT LCD display that bears WVGA (480 x 854 pixels) resolution, this amounts to fairly useable 217ppi. The processor used is a 1.3 GHz MediaTek processor clubbed with Mali-400 GPU. It packs only 512MB of RAM, which wasn’t at all in this price range. Internal storage is as usual 4GB and can be extended to 32GB using MicroSD storage. The storage is quite standard in this price range.
The handset flaunts a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with f/2.8 aperture and LED flash support for Low light conditions. You can also record 720p HD videos at 30 frames per seconds. There is a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. The software is Android 5.1 Lollipop and Blu hasn’t talked about any future updates.
The dual SIM phone supports 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio as connectivity options. Battery capacity used is 1800mAh and the Blu Cell Phones company hasn’t specified figures to indicate how much backup you can extract from it. 
Blu Dash 4.5 will compete against its own device like Blu Studio X Mini that’s come with same display but with 4G LTE connectivity which will cost you slightly higher. If you are looking for selfie-focused smartphone, Blu has recently announced Studio C 8+8, price at $99.95. The highlight of this Blu phone is the front camera, it features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture and back panel also with the same 8-megapixel camera sensor and LED flash. It can also be able to record HD 1080p videos at 30 fps. The device running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, 3000mAh battery and dual SIM 4G LTE connectivity out of the box.
