Polar Pacer Running Watch with 7 days battery, GPS, and waterproof

With the Pacer, Polar is now offering a new best running watch. The new Polar smartwatch model offers a GPS module, is waterproof, and can also be used to display notifications and sleep tracking.

With the Pacer, Polar is now offering a new smartwatch. The manufacturer advertises the Polar Pacer as an uncomplicated best running watch that has all the essential functions. The Polar sport watch is equipped with a 1.2-inch MIP screen. That should also be easy to read in the sunlight and work energy-efficiently – the competitor Garmin also uses the technology in its running watches. The panel is said to be protected by Gorilla Gorilla Glass. A touchscreen is not installed, instead, a total of five buttons are used.

The Pacer weighs around 23 grams without the strap and is equipped with a GNSS module that supports GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and QZSS. A heart rate sensor is installed, whereby athletes should also be informed about their current load status via Training Load Pro.

The Polar smartwatch comes with some typical watch functions. For example, it is possible to display notifications, and music control is supported, but not local music playback.

The 273 mAh battery is said to have a battery life of around seven days. In energy-saving mode, the training recording can take place for up to 100 hours. It drops to 35 hours when both GPS and heart rate recording are enabled.

Polar Pacer price and availability

The Polar Pacer is now available on Amazon.com for $199.95. The Polar smartwatch is available in three color variants: Night Black, Cloud White, Deep Teal, and Purple Dusk. The Pacer Pro has been available since last month.
