Mobvoi has officially presented its new best activity trackers for budget users. The TicWatch GTH Pro GPS fitness tracker with Arty technology and dual PPG bio-sensors analyzes artery and heart health and can thus warn of a possible risk of disease.
Mobvoi has officially unveiled the fitnesstracker that has been teased over the past few days under the motto “TicWatch X Arty”. It is the TicWatch GTH Pro model, which comes with the manufacturer’s exciting new arty feature.
Instead of just one sensor on the back, as is common with today’s smartwatches, Mobvoi has installed two PPG biosensors in the GTH Pro, one on the bottom and one on the side. That measures important health values on the finger. Thus, the user’s arterial waveforms are determined. These are pressure waves based on the strength of one’s pulse as blood flows through the user’s body.
The measured values then flow into a comprehensive health analysis. In addition to the heart rate (TruHR), the exercise capacity (eCAP), the stress index of the heart (HSX), and the age of the arteries (ArtyAge), the smartwatch also outputs the so-called Arty Score. That combines the various key figures of artery and heart health into a comparable score between 1 and 100. According to Mobvoi, users can not only see how their own heart and artery health is but also see how it changes over time or is improved through targeted measures (the wearable provides tips for this). In addition, users can receive a warning if there is a high risk of impending illnesses.
Apart from this new function, the TicWatch GTH Pro offers many things that are already known from the largely identical TicWatch GTH (approx. $79.99 from Amazon) and many other smartwatches. In addition to 24-hour heart rate measurement, the GPS fitness tracker also determines the oxygen content of the blood (SpO2) and skin temperature and also offers stress and sleep monitoring.
For sports activities, 14 different workout modes, including running, rowing, and yoga, are on board. The smartwatch, which is waterproof up to 5 ATM, can also track swimming, and leverage your smartphone’s GPS to map out your outdoor activities. The results are displayed next to the smartphone app on the 1.55-inch TFT display with 360 x 320 pixels, which is housed under 2.5D glass. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of up to 10 days for the 260 mAh battery.

Apart from best activity trackers, Garmin recently introduced a new Instinct 2 Solar-powered watch. Their key feature was the presence of a built-in solar panel. Thus, in the daytime, the solar watch itself constantly recharges itself, which significantly increases its battery life, pricing starting from $449.99.
