LG 32UP83A-W Color calibrated 4K IPS Monitor with USB-C

A new best 4k 32 inch monitor for business and office work called the 32UP83A-W has been introduced by the South Korean electronics giant LG. The built-in IPS panel measures 31.5 inches diagonally, has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels ( 4K ) at a maximum of 60 Hz and supports HDR10.

The contrast ratio is 1000: 1, the color depth is 10 bits, the response time is 5 ms (gray to gray), and the typical brightness is 350 cd/m². In addition, 95 percent of the DCI-P3 color space is covered.

Two integrated 5-watt speakers are also part of the equipment, as is the FreeSync anti-tearing technology, which will probably lack LFC (“Low Framerate Compensation”). The 32 inch computer monitor is color-calibrated at the factory and can be recalibrated using the True Color Pro software. In the OSD there are functions such as a black stabilizer and a mode for people with color blindness.

For connectivity, the UHD monitor packs two HDMI inputs, a DisplayPort, a USB 3.0 hub, a headphone output, and USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode and 60-watt power delivery can be used.

On the ergonomic side, inclination, height adjustment, pivot, VESA mounting (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-reduced background lighting are available. The USB C monitor allows itself 55 watts (Typ.).
