LG Ultragear 27GP700 Gaming Monitor with 240 Hz and 1 ms G2G

LG 27GP750 best 240Hz gaming monitor, which was unveiled in August this year and is priced at $349.99, it has a similarly equipped sister model named LG 27GP700. The new 27-inch LG Ultragear monitor also uses an IPS panel with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and achieves a refresh rate of up to 240 Hz.

To get a stable frame rate in this region, graphically complex titles require a strong graphics card and/or a willingness to cut down on graphics details. The further features of the LG gaming monitor include a 1000: 1 contrast ratio, 8-bit color depth, 1 ms response time (gray to gray), 99 percent sRGB, and 400 cd/m² typical brightness.

The latter boosts the advertised HDR10 support, which is therefore unlikely to be very convincing. As anti-tearing measures, FreeSync Premium and G-Sync-compatible Adaptive Sync are at the start. Crosshair overlays and a black stabilizer can be activated via the OSD.

On the interface side, two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, and headphone output are available. There is no USB connection at all. While the LG 27GP750 can be rotated, tilted, and adjusted in height, the LG 27GP700 only offers a tilt adjustment. On top of that, there is, as usual, a blue light filter, a VESA mounting (100 x 100 mm), and flicker-reduced background lighting. The typical power consumption of the HDR monitor is 45 watts.
