AVerMedia Live Gamer Duo HDMI video capture card now available on Amazon

AVerMedia Technologies announced the release of a dual-input HDMI video capture card named Live Gamer Duo, for those who find it difficult to read large texts (100 words or more), let’s just say the main thing: the 4K card does not write video.

HDMI video capture card

The new AVer Media product is the world’s first internal video capture card with two HDMI inputs, the main input of which supports 4K video input and pass-through at 60 fps and HDR10 and Full HD video at up to 240 fps, and video recording Full HD at 60fps and HDR10, according to the manufacturer.

The downscaling, frame rate conversion and tone mapping are all performed on the card itself, without placing the burden on streaming equipment and content creation. The secondary input does not support the loop-through. It is designed for the camera and supports Full HD signal up to 60fps. Any camcorder, mirrorless, or DSLR camera can be connected to it – as long as it has an HDMI output. The capture card PC provides 7.1 and 5.1 surround sound pass-through.

In terms of connectivity, this is the best capture card, it is equipped with PCIe Gen 2 x4 interface, HDMI 2.0 (2160p, 1440p, 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576p, 480p) and HDMI 1.4 (1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576p, 480p) inputs, and HDMI 2.0 output. The output supports 2160p60 HDR, 1440p144 and 1080p240 resolutions. The maximum recording resolution from the HDMI 2.0 input is 1080p60 HDR (for HDR, you need a card no worse than the Radeon RX5500 XT), from the HDMI 1.4 input – 1080p60. The recording is carried out in MPEG 4 format (H.264 and H.265 encoders are provided by the GPU, the audio codec is provided by the OS). The dimensions of the card are 140 x 125 x 22 mm and weigh 209 grams.
