Asus TUF Gaming VG24VQ1B FreeSync Monitor with 165 Hz and ELMB

Asus recently started listing the new TUF Gaming VG24VQ1B best curved monitor for budget users. Asus 24 inch monitor features a VA panel with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and a maximum refresh rate of 165 Hz, a 1500-R curve.

The contrast ratio of the new Asus 24 inch monitor is 3000: 1, the color depth is 8 bits, the typical brightness is 350 cd/m², and the response time is 1 ms. The latter, however, is an MPRT specification (“Moving Picture Response Time”) and says nothing about the gray change.

The Asus display includes two internal 2-watt speakers, a mode against moving image blurring (ELMB), and FreeSync Premium support against tearing. However, the last two technologies mentioned cannot be combined because it is not an ELMB sync model. If desired, a black stabilizer can be switched on via the OSD, which brightens dark areas in games. On the connection side, DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4, and headphone output are offered. USB interfaces are missing.

On the ergonomic side, the Asus curved gaming monitor comes up with an incline, VESA recording (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-free background lighting. The Asus VG24VQ1B has a power consumption of less than 21 watts and weighs 2.9 kg without the stand. If you want to operate the gaming PC monitor on a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series S / X, you can use Full HD at 120 Hz.
