AOC CU34V5CW 34-inch curved monitor with USB-C and Webcam

Monitor specialist AOC announces a new all-rounder 34 inch curved monitor AOC CU34V5CW from its V5 multifunction display series. AOC curved monitor is suitable for video conferences and virtual lessons at home thanks to the integrated 2 MP webcam with Windows Hello face recognition.

AOC expands its stylish and functional V5 USB-C monitor series with a display with an integrated 2 MP webcam. The AOC CU34V5CW supports face recognition via Microsoft Windows Hello, and each has two built-in 5-watt speakers for comfortable sound. Like the V5C/V5CE series monitors presented at the end of July this year, the new AOC monitor with webcam also has a versatile USB-C connection with 65 watts of power delivery on board for charging and as a power source for laptops or tablets.

The new 34 inch monitor fits elegantly into modern work environments at home thanks to the 3-sided borderless design, narrow chin at the lower edge of the monitor, and thin base (12.1 mm). The webcam monitor from AOC can also be adjusted in height by 130 mm.

The fresh home office monitor from AOC also offers easy connection of peripheral devices such as keyboard and mouse or external storage devices via the integrated 4-port USB 3.2 hub. Laptops, smartphones, or tablets are simply connected with a single USB-C cable and is powered and charged via this cable. The display can be extended or mirrored onto the monitor, and the laptop can access devices on the monitor’s USB hub.

The AOC CU34V5CW uses a 34-inch curved VA panel with 1500R curvature and a UWQHD resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels. AOC puts the contrast ratio of the widescreen monitor in 21:9 format at 3000:1, the refresh rate is 100 Hz. AMD FreeSync support and a low response time of 1 ms (MPRT, 4 ms GtG) also make the AOC CU34V5CW suitable for gaming. Two sources can be displayed simultaneously using the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) and Picture-by-Picture (PbP) modes.

The new AOC curved monitor can be adjusted in height, tilt, and swivel. The monitor presented is also suitable for versatile use in multi-monitor setups thanks to the VESA mount option.
