Acer unveils Predator Orion 3000 gaming desktop with 12th Gen Intel Core i7 and RTX 3070 GPU

Along with the Predator Orion 5000, Acer has also unveiled the Predator Orion 3000 desktop gaming computer aimed at the mid-range gaming markets. The Acer Predator Orion 3000 is the affordable PC gaming desktop that comes with a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and an RTX 3070 GPU.

Acer Predator Orion 3000 gamer PC is aimed more at price-conscious mid-range buyers. It features an obsidian finish across the entire chassis and a dark glass side panel that gives the PC an elegant look. In addition to being sleek, the Orion 5000’s case adopts a tool-less design, which allows for easy disassembly. According to Acer, users can also customize CPU cooling up to a 240mm water cooler.

The new Acer gaming desktop is powered by an Intel B660 chipset motherboard and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU. Acer has used the 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM in the Orion 3000 to keep the cost down. You can configure it with up to 2TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSDs. And if you want more storage, Acer lets you add an extra 6TB SATA hard drive.

Finally, the Orion 3000 is equipped with Intel WiFi 6E, DTS:X Ultra surround sound, and a Killer E3100G 2.5G ethernet controller for better connectivity. Add to that plenty of USB ports, both front, and back, and you’ll understand the appeal of this gaming desktop. In summary, Acer has done a lot of things right with the Orion 3000 desktop computer.

The Orion 3000 is now available to pre-order on Adorama.com, Amazon.com, and Newegg.com online stores with a base price of $1,799.99.
