Acer unveils Predator Orion 5000 gaming desktop with 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and RTX 3080 GPU

Acer has unveiled the Predator Orion 5000 PC gaming desktop computer aimed at the high-end gaming markets. The Orion 5000 is the expensive Acer gaming desktop that comes with a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and an RTX 3080 GPU.

Acer has announced the Predator Orion 5000 desktop gaming PC is aimed at the upper echelon of the gaming sector. It is equipped with the Intel H670 chipset platform and can be configured with a 12th generation Intel Core i7 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU type processor. Acer has equipped the Orion 5000 with 64GB of 4000MHz DDR5 memory, with the option to get up to 2TB of NVMe PCIe Gen 4 storage.

The Predator Orion 5000 gamer PC’s case is also impressive. It features an obsidian finish across the entire chassis and a dark glass side panel that gives the PC an elegant look. In addition to being sleek, the Orion 5000’s case adopts a tool-less design, which allows for easy disassembly. According to Acer, users can also customize CPU cooling up to a 240mm water cooler.

Finally, the Orion 5000 Acer gaming desktop is equipped with Intel WiFi 6E, DTS:X Ultra surround sound, and a Killer E3100G 2.5G ethernet controller for better connectivity. Add to that plenty of USB ports, both front, and back, and you’ll understand the appeal of this gamer PC. In summary, Acer has done a lot of things right with the Orion 5000 PC gaming desktop.
