Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro Price in India, Specifications and Availability

Along with the launch of the Redmi K20 today, the company also introduced the Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro smartphone in India. It is mid-high range device comes with a 6.39-inch AMOLED HDR no-notch display, up to 8GB RAM, Snapdragon 855, Triple Rear Cameras and in-display fingerprint sensor.

The Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro price in India starts from the Rs. 27,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version, and Rs. 30,999 for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version. It will be available from Flipkart.com from July 22nd and comes in Flame Red, Glacier Blue, and Carbon Fiber Black color options.

The Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro features a 6.39-inch AMOLED HDR no-notch display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 103.8% NTSC Color Gamut, 600nit (HBM) / 430nit (Typ) brightness, DCI-P3 color gamut, 91.9% screen-to-body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone features 3D curved design, and the back has a flame pattern in blue and red, while there is a unique kevlar gradient texture in black version.

The handset is powered by a 2.84GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 640 GPU with 8 layers of graphite 3D sheet for better heat dissipation, and Game Turbo 2.0. It packs a 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB / 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage, and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB / 256GB (UFS 2.1) storage.

On the camera front, the handset flaunts a Triple rear sensors: a 48-megapixel main camera with 1/2″ Sony IMX586 sensor, Dual LED Flash, f/1.75 aperture, 0.8μm pixel size, 6P lens, while the 8-megapixel 1/4″ OV8856 telephoto lens with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture for 2x loss-less zoom, and a 13-megapixel 1/3″ Samsung S5K3L6 124.8° ultra-wide sensor with 1.12μm pixel size, and f/2.4 aperture. For selfie, there is a 20-megapixel pop-up front camera with f/2.2 aperture, 0.8μm pixel size, and has a sapphire lens cover that can rise in 0.8 seconds, and the rising mechanism has been tested 300,000 times.

The Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro has a seventh-generation optical in-display fingerprint sensor with 3P lens that is equivalent to a 7.2μm macro camera, which is 100% higher than the previous generation’s photosensitive area, and the finger area is also increased by 15%, which can capture the fingerprint optical signal better. The handset runs on Android 9.0 Pie -based on MIUI 10 out of the box.

It packs a 4000mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging that lets you charge the phone up to 58% in half an hour. It also supports Qualcomm Aqstic WCD9340 Hi-Fi audio chip with a 3.5mm audio jack. For connectivity includes Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS (L1 + L2 Dual Band) + GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C. The device measures 156.7x 74.3×8.8mm and weigh 191 grams.
